Bauxite Alumina Joint Ventures (BAJV) are planning a 62 KM2  open cut bauxite mine HERE in Morangup, Wooroloo and Wundowie.
                 
The Majority of residents DO NOT want a bauxite mine HERE  under any circumstances.

If you are one of the many, then we urge you to send an email to Yangkuang Group in China to tell them how mining in this location is both Environmentally and Socially Irresponsible and will not be accepted by our communities under any circumstances.

Yankuang Resources Pty Ltd is managed by Yancoal Australia Ltd. which is one of the largest coal miners and operators in Australia including the management and operation of the largest coal mine in WA (ie Collie coal mine).
