Gidgegannup Agricultural Show Saturday the 31st of October.

If you are not doing anything tomorrow, then why not come along to the Gidgegannup Agricultural Show.

We will have our marquee set up handing out information and collecting signatures against proposals to open cut mine for bauxite in the Perth Hills, the Avon Valley and a mere 10 minutes from Gidgegannup.

It has just become apparent that the proponents BAJV which is a JV 70% owned by Yangkuang Resources and 30% owned by BRL, looks set to become 100% owned by the peoples republic of China (PROC).

If your family and friends and of course yourself would like to sign our latest petition, simply download both sheets. One is for the Legislative Assembly (LA) the other is for the Legislative Council (LC).

In this petition we ask both Houses of State Parliament to protect the Darling Range from “Bulk Commodity” mining within 100 km from Perth’s C.B.D.

Please complete and sign each sheet only once, get your family and friends to do the same and send the completed sheets back to AHMAG, PO Box 111, Gidgegannup WA 6083.

There are 14 spaces on each sheet, if you are unable to complete each sheet don’t stress, merely send them back to AHMAG and we will have other concerned members of the public complete the sheets, prior to presentation to Parliament.
